Principles

We do not believe in ourselves until someone reveals that deep inside us something is valuable, worth listening to, worthy of our trust, sacred to our touch. Once we believe in ourselves we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight or any experience that reveals the human spirit.

These 8 principles shape my perspective and inform how we work together.

You hold the answers.

Notice and trust what’s inside. What if you spent less time looking beyond yourself and instead heard your own wisdom?

You don't need to be fixed.

Those voices of criticism (inside your head, especially) make quite a racket. What if you listen for the acceptance and appreciation for all that you know, have and do?

You have options.

There's rarely one, single, perfect answer. What if you were to be open to explore what’s possible?

You have time.

You can hurry and rush, plow ahead and press on, to get to the next thing. What if you trust that you’ll get where you’re meant to be, when you're meant to be there?

Experiment, then discover.

Your thinking will get you started. What if you move your ideas out of your head and into action with your mind, body and spirit?

Balance effort with ease.

Intensity, complexity and frazzle have become badges of effort. What if you could slow down, take a breath and figure out what is really needed?

Find a moment of quiet, then listen.

Quiet moments yield space to rest, gather insight, make decisions and connect - which is what we do during a call. What if you slow down, tune in and notice?

You are beautiful.

I believe it and I hope you do, too. What if you live from this perspective?

You’ve got a great way of leading me to unexpected (and wonderful) insights when I’m in the dark on an issue. Your wisdom and intuition have helped me time and again come to difficult areas of my life with a renewed sense of perspective and possibility.
